How Lady Gaga Changed My Life.

As many of you may know, Lady Gaga is the ultimate diva. She embodies everything that a diva should be; she has never so much as looked at a pair of sweatpants, she wouldn't be caught dead in flats, and she's always ready for a photo op. As Gaga-loo once said, "I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I'd never give up my wigs and hats for anything." Now that, my fellow divas, is a sign of true devotion to the diva lifestyle.
Some simple steps that one might take in order to become more like Gaga are:
1) Always have confidence, originality, soul and plastic wrap.
2) Come up with a diva name.
3) Never leave the house without a brass bra that shoots fire (and spare fire extinguisher, just in case).
4) The top characteristics of being a diva are beautiful and dirtyrich.
So, be encouraged fellow divas! Becoming more Gaga-esque may not be as hard as it sounds. Just follow the steps and you'll be well on your way to becoming a true diva!

Back at the WU

We apologize for our time away, but every diva needs a vacation, and the past week we were simply too busy sun tanning and shopping. But we are BACK, and although it was hard to leave the sandy beaches, we must return to the reality of being a diva in a small town. To celebrate our return to campus, we shared spring break stories with our house mates and read all the latest fashion magazines while sipping virgin martinis. It's feels good to be a diva.

Divas in a swimming pool

Tonight the three divas decided to go for a late night swim. The life guard informed us it is a safety hazard to swim in heels, so we took them off before diving in. N an A got a great workout in doing strokes such as the butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle, while E flirted with the lifeguard. We then returned to the suite to relax and watch a few episodes of the O.C. while reading Elle magazine and sipping on drinks.
Untill next time!

Diva-Day

Hey dazzling divas around the world!
We apologize for being so slow to update, but being a diva is a full time job! When you live in room 318 everyday is diva-day. There are always clothes to buy, magazines to read, homework to not do, clarinets to play, goals to score, nails to paint, phone calls answer (from boys), heels to rock, and trends to set.
This past weekend, the divas from the room 318 suite took a road trip to chicago. Lady Gaga was a MUST HAVE for this trip. Playing this CD on repeat reminded us of our diva identity and made the trip bearable. After 6 hours in the car we stopped at a classy restaurant with an old friend of A's. EVen though we were worn out from a long car trip, our diva attitude was still noticed the second we walked into the restaurant. We got special treatment from the waitress. When we were finished with the main course, the manager brought out their finest desserts for FREE! We are constantly reminded that being a diva pays off!
After our gourmet meal, we ventured to the other end of town to stay the night with our friend K. After a long night of sipping on drinks, outfit-planning and celeb gossip we decided to call it a night.
We woke up bright and early to the sight of our limousine parked in the driveway. We all slipped on our heels and were out the door before you could say DIVA. We spent the day fine-dining and shopping in high-end boutiques. The day was a total success. When we returned to Marion, we were reminded of the struggles of being a diva in a small town, but we are always up for a challenge! Don't lose heart divas around the world!
bye for now.

Do divas really live in Marion?

Today we went for a night out on the town in the lovely Marion, IN. While we ate, we contemplated the complexities of being a diva in a small town. Hard, I know, but we must have faith. One may often find herself asking, "How can I be a diva in [insert small town name here]?" Well, a true diva is able to harness her inner diva powers at any location. The struggle may be hard and taxing at times, but we must keep in mind that Marion is just a stepping stone on our long journey of being true divas living in New York City.
Now, you may look at yourself and think, "well, how do I know if I am ready to be a true diva?" Well, if you exihibit one or more of the following, you know that you are well on your way to become a diva godess.
1) You wear stilettos to McConn.
2) You try to get a little somethin in your Frappe.
3) Your always up for a party.
4) If you are a Music Performance major with vocal emphasis.
5) You critique everyone's outfits when they walk down the mallway.
Keep up the good work divas!
